Omar Usman, MD, MBA is a physician-informaticist working at the intersection of emergency medicine, clinical informatics, and design. He brings a rare combination of clinical expertise, technical depth, and business acumen to the challenge of improving healthcare at scale.

As Vice President of Clinical Informatics at all.health, Dr. Usman leads clinical strategy for a wearable-based digital health platform, overseeing product development, clinical trials, and machine learning initiatives. His work has contributed to algorithms for atrial fibrillation and sleep apnea detection, as well as disease management programs reaching patients with diabetes, heart failure, COPD, and COVID-19.

Dr. Usman completed his Medical Informatics Fellowship at Stanford University and the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, where he developed novel approaches to EHR data analysis and contributed to the ATHENA Clinical Decision Support System. He holds dual board certifications from the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Clinical Informatics.

His research spans sepsis detection algorithms, clinical decision support systems, implementation science, and the application of causal inference in clinical settings. He has published in the American Journal of Emergency Medicine, AMIA Annual Symposium Proceedings, and Health Affairs, and has presented at more than 30 national and local conferences.
